CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS
Do you need a certified or notarized translation for obtaining a work or residence permit, for an authority, an educational institution or a new employer? Whatever document you need to translate, be it a high school diploma, licensure to practice medicine, residence permit, certificate of good conduct, birth certificate, marriage certificate, confirmation of registration, affidavit or apostille, as a sworn translator of documents for the English language I can help you quickly, easily and discreetly. For languages other than English and German, I will be happy to recommend reliable and competent colleagues.

I will treat your sensitive document with total confidentiality, true to the promise I gave when I was appointed a sworn translator before the president of the Regional Court Heidelberg, pursuant to § 15 of the German Courts Act (AGGVG). The process is very simple:
Step 1: Please e-mail me the scanned or photographed, clearly legible document.
Step 2: I will assess the time needed for translation and formatting and will then send you a price quotation.
Step 3: You order the translation by e-mail and pick it up later at the agreed time. That is when you present the original document for verification and pay for the service. Done!
Certified translations in PDF format – usually not a problem!
This can be an option if the recipient of the translation accepts what is known as a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) as proof of the translator’s identity in accordance with EU Regulation 910/2014 (“eIDAS Regulation”). Translations in PDF format are not acceptable for notarized translations in the strict sense of the term, meaning that a notary public has to verify the translator’s identity. It is advisable to check with the requesting authority beforehand to ensure compliance.
